Laser Haemangioma & Blood Spot Removal Bristol
Instant medical laser photocoagulation for cherry angiomas, Campbell de Morgan spots, spider naevi, and venous lakes of the lip. Personally diagnosed, dermoscopically evaluated, and treated by Dr Bradley Tomkins using the medical-grade Cynosure Elite Plus 1064nm Nd:YAG platform.
Vascular Lesions Successfully Cleared
Benign vascular skin anomalies form when clusters of dermal micro-capillaries or small veins dilate and proliferate. Long-pulsed Nd:YAG delivers rapid, selective intravascular heat, coagulating the feeder without cutting or stitching the skin.
Cherry Angiomas & Blood Spots
Also termed Campbell de Morgan spots. Bright red or purple papules caused by dense capillary proliferations. Under targeted 1064nm pulses, the lesion instantly darkens into a tiny micro-crust that sloughs away cleanly over 7 to 14 days, leaving smooth skin.
Spider Naevi (Spider Angiomas)
A central feeding punctum that radiates outwards in fine capillary legs resembling a spider's web. Dr Brad applies high-precision optical collimation to collapse the central arteriole feeder, permanently arresting blood flow to the radiating vessels.
Venous Lake of the Lip
Dark blue or purple vascular ectasias that develop on sun-exposed lips. Often mistaken for a blood blister, they persist indefinitely. Long-pulsed Nd:YAG selectively heats the deep venous pool, shrinking the papule flush with the vermilion lip border without scar tissue.
Transparent Lesion Fee Schedule
All fees are fully inclusive of 20% VAT. We do not use vague "from" quotes that require awkward price negotiation during consultations. Pricing is structured strictly by lesion volume.
Ideal for patients with an isolated Campbell de Morgan spot, a single prominent facial blood spot, or an individual spider naevus.
Common presentation for multiple spots across the torso, chest, or abdomen. Typically completed within 10–15 minutes of chair time.
Targeted clearance of multiple vascular papules across both upper torso and back or arms during a single appointment.
Full torso, back, or generalised trunk sweep for widespread cherry angioma scatter. Up to 30 minutes of active machine time.
Venous Lake of the Lip (Phlebectasia)
Venous lakes require delicate micro-pulsed stacking to coagulate the dilated venous space without causing surface blister breakdown or notch deformities on the lip border.
Treated cherry angiomas and spider naevi immediately turn a darker grey-purple as the blood coagulates. Over the next 7 to 14 days, a fine crust forms and separates naturally during washing. Avoid picking crusts, avoid hot tubs or saunas for 48 hours, and protect treated sites from direct UV exposure with SPF 50.
